This comprehensive approach yields the Nigeria Multidimensional Poverty Index, which serves as a crucial policy tool. It aids in identifying the most vulnerable populations across States and Senatorial districts, shedding light on areas of deprivation, and effectively targeting resources and designing policies to uplift the marginalized.The insights gleaned from the MPI play a pivotal role in refining budget allocations at the Federal and State levels in Nigeria.
